The following week, students went into the deeper learning. They found out that the slime they created from white glue and borax was a flexible polymer. Polymers are made up of many many molecules all strung together to form really long chains. Students learnt that slime is a unique POLYMER because it has qualities of both a solid and a liquid.
Other examples of polymers:
Jell-O, rubber bands, plastic soda bottles, sneaker soles, and even gum.
